SURFACE OPERATORS TO ON-/OFFSHORE PROSJECTS - STARTING APRIL

Eterni is looking for surface operators who want to work with innovative solutions for the future. In an industry that is constantly evolving, competence is very important to us when we are looking for new colleagues. We want you who are motivated for a career in surface treatment and preferably you who already have or want to obtain a Norwegian certificate of apprenticeship. The projects are expected to have a long duration. We offer attractive shifts as well as safe and tidy working conditions.

Main work tasks:

• Perform work in accordance with HSE and safety regulations
• Prepare, treat, varnish and spray materials
• Perform pre-treatment and cleaning processes
• Handle chemicals safely and environmentally friendly
• Operate machines and tools
• Handle chemical and electrolytic baths
• Melted metal products

Qualification:

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Certificate of apprenticeship or course/site-test in surface treatment
• NORSOK M-501
• Scandinavian language
• Fall protection course, both theory and practical training
• Valid course for departure Offshore - HUET

As an industrial surface operator, you must work quality and environmentally consciously according to strict HSE rules. You work with many harmful chemicals, and it is therefore important that you know their properties and reduce emissions to air and drains during work. It is an advantage if you have previous experience from working at refineries or similar industrial plants.
You have to understand the risks of working in such a complex facility. You must show the ability to work in teams and collaborate with your colleagues. Even though the work pace is high, a good work environment is highly valued and we want your contribution.
